🧹 Regular Cleaning
Shake the mat outdoors regularly to remove trapped dirt and debris. For best results do this at least once a week or more frequently in high traffic areas.

🪥 Brushing
Use a stiff brush to work out any deeply embedded dirt from the coir fibres. Always brush in the direction of the fibres to avoid damage.

💧 Spills & Stains
Blot spills immediately with a clean dry cloth. Allow the mat to dry naturally and fully before placing back in position — never leave a wet coir mat on a hard floor as this can cause damage underneath.

☀️ Drying
If the mat gets wet, allow it to dry completely in a well ventilated area or outdoors in natural air. Never tumble dry or use direct heat sources to dry.

🚫 Do Not Machine Wash
Coir mats are not suitable for machine washing. Excess water can cause the natural fibres to shrink, warp or deteriorate.

🔄 Rotation
Rotate the mat periodically to ensure even wear, especially in high footfall areas such as front doors.
